GOT BAG
GOT BAG is a German start-up that produced the world's first backpack made from ocean impact plastic in 2016. The company has developed a clean-up programme in Indonesia to avoid plastic waste and its improper disposal in the sea.
As part of the company's own Ocean Impact Plastic programme, not only is the PET required for backpack production collected and recycled - some of the unusable plastic is also fed into suitable recycling solutions to prevent it from ending up in the sea or in nature.
The backpacks from GOT BAG are minimalist in design, timeless and made of durable, robust material, which is not only particularly sustainable, but also symbolises the conscious use of our environment and existing resources. All backpacks are also waterproof - and here too, the company pays attention to environmentally friendly PFC- and PVC-free coatings.
GOT BAG demonstrates across the board that it is not acting purely economically, but is first and foremost taking responsibility for a global challenge that needs to be solved.
The start-up is supported by renowned partners such as Boris Herrmann & Team Malizia and Sea Shepherd.
